Product Details
Confined-space accidents caused by hydrogen sulfide exposure happen worldwide, so the client wanted to minimize man-entry into wet wells where toxic gas concentrates. Old pump stations have narrow wet wells full of tangled waste — snack wrappers, gloves, socks — that clog suction pumps, and the lowering hatch sits right against the wall where no ordinary crane can be positioned.
We delivered a full-316-stainless-steel robot: a 40m-head slurry pump, an intake grid with cutter and roller brush that shreds tangled waste, plus a custom compact manual hoist to lower the robot through narrow openings from basement level 2 — covering 72 pump stations of varying conditions.
